COUNSELLING HUB

Need someone to talk to?

s there something you need to talk about but you don't know where to start?

I

  • Some times trying to talk about things that are private, upsetting or difficult can be overwhelming and feel risky. Yet I know from personal experience how transformative it can be to talk at these times.

  • I use an integrative counselling model. This means I draw from a variety of approaches that allows me to tailor counselling to each person’s unique needs.

  • My approach recognises the importance of creating a respectful, empathic and trusting relationship with clients, which creates a safe space for a person to explore the issues they are facing and move forward in meaningful and positive ways.

hat to expect?

W

I offer 20 minutes telephone consultation in order for you to assess whether you want counselling and what is involved The first session begins with an assessment session with no obligation to continue.

If you wish to engage in counselling with me we would then agree the frequency and timing of our future sessions. This is usually a 50 minute session at weekly intervals at a regular time, but this can be adjusted to suit your needs. Counselling is a collaborative process .The relationship between Client and Counsellor is important and we would regularly review our work together to ensure we are making progress in the time we are together
